What is the educational background?


Jas grew up in a very active household which naturally led him towards studying Kinesiology at UBC. Upon graduating he co-founded FIT Nation with a couple of his friends. For over a decade he worked as a strength coach and Kinesiologist out of his facility in Surrey, BC. Initially, his primary focus was coaching barbell training which then morphed into an obsession with injury rehabilitation; in particular, motor vehicle accident patients. For nearly a decade he has been working with ICBC active rehabilitation clients. After spending most of his career working in Surrey, he is ready to come back closer to home to continue his work as a practitioner. 

What are Jas’ top areas of care?


Jas has taken part in many sports growing up which began with track and field followed by top-flight flag football. He is currently taking part in endurance sports such as distance running and triathlon. Due to his engagement in this wide array of activities, he is no stranger to injuries. Having first-hand dealt with countless injuries related to sports he understands really well the complexities that stand behind successful injury rehabilitation. Some of his specialties include low back disorders, running injuries, and hip/knee dysfunction. Having gone through a lot of trial and error rehabilitating his own injuries, he understands what the overall trajectory looks and feels like. 

During his time off Jas is usually training for either a triathlon or distance running event. He spends a lot of his time away from kinesiology both writing and reading.
