Kristina Villanueva

Kristina attended the full-time program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and graduated in December 2022.

At the age of three, her love and interest in movement began through dance. She has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, and contemporary dance. Her passion and drive to ensure everyone is equipped to feel supported to reach their goals started when she became a Dance Instructor. Kristina attended Simon Fraser University, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with a Major in Dance. Growing up as a competitive dancer, she often sought out massage therapy and became intrigued with how beneficial it can be with recovery and injury prevention.

Within her treatments, Kristina integrates Swedish massage techniques while incorporating deep tissue work along with Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Joint mobilization. She is determined to provide patients with a collaborative and effective treatment plan. Her goal is to improve muscle function, increase range of motion and relieve pain with the use of massage therapy.

In her free time, she continues to dance and enjoys teaching Spin classes at Spin House Fleetwood.
